I’ve seen a popular blog reblog things like that. People will tell me to my face that afabs can get top surgery, HRT, he/him pronouns, have gender dysphoria, and still be lesbians, still be cis. And I think something that people don’t understand is that a lot of trans men do not get bottom surgery. A lot of gay/bi trans men do not even want bottom surgery. It feels like I’m being erased out of existence. I feel like I can’t talk about this without massive pushback. Which is so fucking stupid. I am also only going to talk about this with trans people and I am not going to discuss this on anon.

Yea sure, of course cis people, AFAB or AMAB can start HRT and get surgery and all that.

And when HRT starts having physical effects and every bit of their body feels starts to feel disgusting and wrong because they’re not FUCKING TRANS, they’ll understand dysphoria and shut the fuck up about things they don’t understand.

That’s how it’s supposed to be? The entire genre is about being hateful and angry. If you start making trans* positive black metal, than it’s just not black metal. Same goes for homophobia and racism. If you start singing about how racists/homophobes are evil, you’re not black metal

The dumbest fucking thing I see in society regarding trans people is that they have act like rigid stereotypes of their gender, especially when they were kids. If I didn’t wear mommy’s makeup as a kid and fantasize about being a 1950’s housewife, suddenly I’m not a transwoman. The only prerequisite for being trans is experiencing dysphoria. You can be a transwoman and enjoy traditionally masculine things. You can be a trans man and enjoy traditionally feminine things. God. Shits got me heated.
